it's funny how we fuss about how fast we are helped at the grocery store,
or how impatient we get when we are waiting for our friends to arrive,
or how we sometimes tell people "I don't have the time, I'm far too busy."
Yet, 2011 is gone, a whole year, and it should have been plenty of time to get things done.

I know I didn't accomplish quite as much as I would have liked for the year.
Sadly, now it's too late, but what I do got, is a brand new chance to make this year count.
I won't sit here and reiterate all of my pointless resolutions, because they are all the same.
But I will say, that I am excited to start a new chapter in my life, wherever that may take me.
I don't need to measure anything in increments or dollars, or hours, or accomplishments.
I just need to know I am doing what I am supposed to be doing.
Doing what I love. Loving who I need to love. Moving on. Believe in myself.
Positivity, for myself, and the world.
To be there, and dear.

It's time to let the scars become scars, and move on with the daylight.
No more need to feel sadness and regret, no more need to be lonely.
There are so many beautiful and wonderful opportunities to meet people.
To be someone, and something of importance.
I'm ready to be me.
